Southwest Detroit Community Development Corporation (SDCDC), formerly known as Apostolic Development Corporation (ADCO) is the non-profit 501(c)3 community arm of Greater Apostolic Faith Temple. Under the leadership of its current president, Bishop Lambert W. Gates, Sr., SDCDC will provide several services to improve the quality of life of Detroiters. Three of targeted services are toys for children through the Toys for Tots Program. a full-day childcare center and a store that offers reduced price, essential family products. The Toys for Tots project first offered at Christmas 2010, will continue as an annual occurance. The other two projects are in the developmental stages and, once established, will be on-going services.
