About ADCO

Apostolic Development Corporation (ADCO) is the non-profit 501(c)3 community arm of Greater Apostolic Faith Temple. Formed in 1992, by the late Bishop Nemiah Smith, is established to provide social and economical support to residents of the city of Detroit. ADCO’s past endeavors include operation of a food and clothing pantry for needy families; a tutorial service for children struggling with academic subjects; and an after-school childcare for working parents. Under the leadership of its current president, Bishop Lambert W. Gates, Sr., ADCO will continue to offer quality of life services. One of targeted service is a full-day childcare center that is projected to open in the near future.

Our Mission

ADCO’s mission is to improve the lives of residents of Detroit by providing relevant social and economic programs.
